Does the tailgate have a regular keyed lock, or do you have to get the electric lock.
They already run power to that location for the third brake light (moved there in most recent builds) and the camera.I prefer a keyed lock though I don't think it's offered. The electric lock is probably the only option. Power for the lock would come from where?
Whew, buddy. You’ve been missing out! It’s like a warm bidet the morning after taco night in Tijuana!Never had an electric tailgate lock on a truck.
“Eloping”. Say your a doctor without saying your a doctor. mental health? I’m Peds.Whew, buddy. You’ve been missing out! It’s like a warm bidet the morning after taco night in Tijuana!
Ok, that’s exaggeration. If you have a nice tonneau and things you don’t want “eloping” in a parking lot, the electric lock can be nice when you have hands full to open/close tailgate.
Otherwise, key works manually just fine.
I enjoy varied word usement, Doctor. Welcome!“Eloping”. Say your a doctor without saying your a doctor. mental health? I’m Peds.
For comparison because we love theseDoes the tailgate have a regular keyed lock, or do you have to get the electric lock.
There are lots of teens/fools who steal stuff in parking lots (and sometimes driveways!), so I get it.Who needs a freaking lock
I installed one on my Dodge Ram. It was great. Had to route cable up to the cab, and piggy back off a rear door actuator.Never had an electric tailgate lock on a truck.
